NBSC JOINS CHEDRO X’S ASEAN MONTH 2026 CELEBRATION CULMINATING ACTIVITY
In celebration of the 59th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Founding Anniversary and ASEAN Month 2026, Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC), through the International Affairs and External Linkages Office (IAELO), participated in the Regional ASEAN Month 2026 Celebration Culminating Activity organized by the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office X (CHEDRO X) on August 27, 2026, at the Tangub City People’s Gym, Tangub City, Misamis Occidental.
Representing the institution were Ms. Blessel M. Quiño, Designate Head of IAELO, together with World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) Top 100 awardees, Ms. Charry Mae Grepon and Mr. Melven I. Valmoria, and Ms. Rowena E. Bagongon, who actively facilitated the Esa Unggul International Events 2026. The celebration was anchored on the Philippine ASEAN Chairship theme, “Setting Sail for ASEAN 2026: Navigating Our Future, Together.”
The activity brought together higher education institutions across Northern Mindanao in a celebration of ASEAN unity, cultural diversity, and regional cooperation. Through the Solidarity Parade of ASEAN Nations and the program proper, participants showcased the rich cultures and traditions of ASEAN member countries. NBSC’s involvement reflects its continued commitment to internationalization, strengthening regional partnerships, and promoting meaningful collaboration toward a more inclusive, sustainable, and people-centered ASEAN community.
